Laws need to be few and simple

Law

Worth Noting:

  • In a disorganized society members do not have good morals all that regulate them are the laws of the land. Bearing in mind that all cases require evidence beyond reasonable doubt, provided they are able to ensure there is no enough evidence they would not fear to do what is wrong.
  • They try to silence any witness who could go against them if a case is raised for their mistakes. This endangers the lives of those who are associated with them as one could be hurt not because he has committed a crime but his presence in a scene of crime and need to conceal any evidence.

In the ideal State laws are few and simple, because they have been derived from certainties. In the corrupt State laws are many and confused; because they have been derived from uncertainties……Solo

In each and every society there is a generally accepted code of behaviour. This helps to regulate how members of the society relate with each other. All the members need to be aware of these regulations to minimize chances of one doing wrong unknowingly. There are consequences in case of violation of any of the regulations.

These regulations should be aimed at promoting the behaviours that are beneficial to the society while at the same time discouraging the vices in the society.

When it comes to laws affecting production they need to encourage optimal levels of production and reduce environmental degradation.

In building a structure the engineer need to be aware of construction costs, potential environmental hazards, government regulations, design code and standards, load considerations, framing and schedule. The framers of the rules and regulations should have such a mind like the one of an engineer trying to standardize the rules ensuring that they are easy to implement and cost friendly.

As the child grows up instilling in him good morals which include hygiene and respect for other people and their property will go a long way in helping him not to contravene many known and unknown rules to him. Issues like trespass, stealing, violence, rape, murder, corruption and defamation will be taken care of by respecting other people and their properties.

What your constituents are used to do is what needs to be supported by regulations by sealing existing loopholes. Foreign ideas may not be easily understandable by many of those who may be subjected to judgments using such rules resulting to unwarranted pain to them.

By having the basics right societies with simple rules are cost friendly in enforcing their regulations, easy interpretation of their regulations making a huge number of members of the society to follow them with ease.

In a disorganized society members do not have good morals all that regulate them are the laws of the land. Bearing in mind that all cases require evidence beyond reasonable doubt, provided they are able to ensure there is no enough evidence they would not fear to do what is wrong.

They try to silence any witness who could go against them if a case is raised for their mistakes. This endangers the lives of those who are associated with them as one could be hurt not because he has committed a crime but his presence in a scene of crime and need to conceal any evidence.

In those disorganized societies rules are individualized in favour of those who are crafting them. The incorporation of many personalized interests renders the number of rules to be extraordinary large and subjective.

The selfish nature of human beings of wanting to individually possess all that is good leads to rules crafted to curb their insatiable appetite to have many don’ts making the number of rules to be large and more of deterrent regulations rather than being open ended rules aimed to further encouraging enjoyment of more freedoms.
