Mwea Constituency Member of Parliament Mary Maingi is a believer in the fact that education is an equalizer. That is why she has demonstrated enthusiasm in ensuring access and affordability of education for all. She notes,
“Providing opportunities for our children to access quality education is a collective responsibility that requires the partnership of parents, schools, and leaders.
In my efforts to ensure we support our students so that financial constraints do not hinder them from achieving their potential, today my team has successfully delivered bursaries to several institutions, including:
Jeremiah Nyaga National Polytechnic, Embu College, University of Embu, Chuka University, Meru University of Science and Technology, and The Meru National Polytechnic.
In the coming week, we will also be issuing and delivering bursaries to the rest of the institutions, so that no student is left behind.”
