Newly elected Murang’a Speaker Johnson Mukuha has thanked members of County assembly for having confidence in him and eventually electing him the County Assembly Speaker.
“I take this opportunity to thank the MCAs for the overwhelming support you accorded me to be your speaker in the assembly. Am deeply humbled by your confidence in my leadership and I assure you that am going to work and fulfil the pledges I made to you during the campaign period. I believe that we are going make a historic county assembly in Kenya through teamwork, consultation and sacrifice. God bless you all.”
Mr Mukuha has pledged to assist MCAs to deliver on the promises made and he has given a commitment that he will make sure President Dr William Ruto achieves his manifesto under the bottom up economic model.
Mr Mukuha has pledged to amplify welfare of MCAs through implementation of the ward fund and capacity building for the MCAs
He is quoted saying: “I will endeavour to oversee a robust leadership of county assembly forum to assist in delivery of hustler fund and pesa mfukoni having worked at the national presidential campaign secretariat at the William Ruto command center.”
