It is with deep sorrow and pain as we see many Kenyans suffering from hunger. This is due to random increase in food price where many citizens cannot afford. Many people are unemployed and therefore they cannot be able to cater for the basic needs of their families. People are dying of hunger in remote areas due to inability to afford the food.
Politicians are just campaigning but not looking what their voters are going through. Most of them are financially stable and they are not caring about the people. They are after the votes but not the people. They are making fake promises to lure people so as to become elected and after being elected, they will not fulfill the promises.
People have found illegal measures to combat hunger. For instance, stealing, which has increased insecurity in villages? Others are committing suicide because of the suffering hence leaving their children as orphans.
Leaders should hear the cries of their people and turn to help them. Leaders should not be materialistic in extend that people are dying and they cannot help them. Kenyans should be wise and elect people of good leadership qualities who care about them.
