Mukurwe-ini constituency Member of Parliament John Kaguchia has assured his residents that various projects that stalled due to bad politics are being revived.
Thus, the constituents will start enjoying supply of electricity, water and roads.
Kaguchia spoke yesterday when he inspected the Migombe-ini village Electricity Supply Scheme in Migombe-ini-Tambaya area of Mukurwe-ini West Ward.
He noted that the scheme was started last year but faced challenges, including theft of conductors and poles which he attributed to a conspiracy with the powers that be, which led to a halting of the project.
“We now seek to resolve the issue and unlock money to facilitate the project, which is set to be completed in the next few days. This will see at least 31 homes connected to electricity,” he noted.
Already, rehabilitation of some roads that are under Kenya Rural Roads Authority (Kerra) has begun with the residents thanking him for his speedy facilitation.
During his campaigns, the UDA law maker promised his constituents that he would do all what it takes to make sure that he addressed various key issues that have affected them for decades.
These include rehabilitation of roads, improvement of security and connection of water and electricity.
