The life experiences of the writer have been beautifully captured in this book. Her happy and sad moments, her childhood and youthful days, her hobbies and passions, her success’ and failures in life, everything is so wonderfully depicted through these poems.
The readers should be able to connect to her character and her journey almost instantaneously and would be able to relate many of her life experiences as their own. It’s fun reading this book and is sure to bring smiles on the reader’s face. Mrs. Susi Jean R, born and brought up in Nagercoil, K. K. Dist. She did her graduation in English from S.T. Hindu College in 1989.
She is working as a Product Executive in “Otelseasy “, She has been exploring different dimensions through gardening, cooking and by being fitness freak. She has extensive terrace gardening. She is flanked with pets at her home. She enjoys experimenting with Indian cuisines.These days; She has also made fitness regime, a part of her life.
She was reintroduced into creating writing last year through a group called “Creative Writers”. Author in her was stirred and challenged through the daily challenges that were set up. Now, she has reached a level where she cannot end a day without scribbling few of her thoughts into lines.
Myself in my youth, used to write poems, which made me happy and gay. After a long twenty-five years got an opportunity to know about the group and joined the same through the Creative Writers group. The group admin Mrs Brinda. D, is my best and close friend.
The group is unique, daily backgrounds are given on various topics. The group opens shortly by 7 pm and closes at 10 pm every day. In between the members get an opportunity to read and review the poems. It enhances the vocabulary.
The group has published four anthologies. So far we have celebrated annual and award functions. Members from different states and districts actively participate. The relationship with the members is strong like a family.
I have received three CW awards. I am extremely happy to be a part of this group. With the guidance of Brinda Ma’am, I recently published my book named ‘ Lavenders of Life’. I am much obliged to her.
