Tetu Constituency UDA Parliamentary aspirants with Deputy President Dr William Ruto

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) politicians who were seeking the Tetu parliamentary seat but lost have agreed to support the winner.
The losers met Deputy President Dr William Ruto yesterday at his Karen offices where the agreement was made.
They are Peter Kamuthu, Terry Maina, Ann Thumbi and Matutu Mathenge.
Last week, Tetu Member of Parliament Gichuhi Mwangi who also lost during the UDA nominations met the deputy president where a deal was sealed for him to support Wandeto and have him supported for the position of Speaker of Nyeri County Assembly .
The current speaker, John Kaguchia was nominated unopposed as the UDA parliamentary aspirant for Mukurwe-ini constituency.
Kaguchia will be facing Jubilee’s Eng. Kariuki Wa Muchemi and the incumbent Anthony Kiai who is defending his seat under The Service Party (TPS).
In Tetu, Wandeto will face it with among others The New Democrats (TND) Alex Gathii Gitonga and Jubilee’s Martin Lutherking Githigaro.
