My mother was a great teacher
Not that great but equivalent to greatness
She stood firm in her teachings
And today
What she taught am living it
What she said am seeing it
My mother
The great teacher
My mother stood and one day taught
That she saw fire in her children’s eyes
She didn’t know what it was
But it was equivalent to a great destiny
My mother
The great teacher
My mother stood and one day taught
That the old law do not really matter again
For generations are not the same
But character matter even to the grave
For it brings about memory
My mother
The great teacher
Yes she stood again one day and taught
About the religious wolfs
The hypocrites that know heaven by name
Them who have eyes that can’t see
And ears and they can’t hear
My mother
The great teacher
She stood again when i was eighteen years
Heading to college for stu- dies
With great wisdom she said
” my son clear the new world,Β do something to get a beautiful name”
My mother
The great teacher
My mother
From the old world she didn’t lack an answer
Even in her pain
With tears she would answer with alot of care
My mother
The great teacher
My mother
Today am living
Bright as the eye of the rising sun
Though with a lot of scars
And a lot of hurts in my soul
I remember all that you taught
That i will rise again
My mother
The great teacher
