Stroke and traumatic brain injury can cause damage to specific areas of the brain, leading to a range of physical and cognitive deficits. Neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), are characterized by atypical brain development and can impact cognitive, social, and behavioral functioning.
