The time will soon come
Were the words of my mother
Pleading with my heart
Forever not to be low
She told me this
Assuring me i will have rest
When the time comes
The right time for it
She narrated to me a story
About a twinkle star that shined
About a rain fall
How the winds blew coming and going
How the snow came and went
For in different time they come
For there appointed right time
She was so real with it
Bringing an imagery of the sun and moon
How cool the moon is
Yet it can shine during the day
How bright the sun is yet it can’t light the night
Its hand in hand
For the right time of both
To do there work best
I leart alot my daughter
And to you my son i taught myself
On thr bright edge of the road
I will walk and run my race
For my time will come
And the right time it will
And the small crosses won’t matter
But i finished the race well
So do you my children
