Village Well
Down the hills ,
towards the valleys ,
at the detach of streams ,
was what I remember ,
my younger sister and I
all of our days routine ,
a place we dwelt happily
a place of joy ,
under the shaded bush tree ,
we took our breath
we enjoyed the swings ,
melodies got us too,
our voices lyrics as birds ,
how glorious was the place
the place of romance too
the love of nature gave it abundantly
a tongue I met too.
down the well
my heart got to love ,
down the well
flowers dwelled to shine bright ,
for years I never lacked to visit ,
for now I remember ,
where my love began ,
down the well,
as the birds enjoyed the she sky ,
I to enjoyed the meet ups
voices of butterflies got in me deeply
I enjoyed the daily fetch to cover the meet,
oh , great well
for you I resemble .
