2). Where are you from?
Mochudi, Botswana
3).What is your profession?
Student and part-time writer
4).Where did you publish it?
Showcasing Talents, Botswana
5).Did you make an input on cover design?
Yes, I actually design my book covers. With a little bit of help from my publisher, of course.
6). You best poem from your book, tell us more about that poem!
It’s not a poem, but an excerpt rather, from my novel. It reads, “You know when you’re walking and it suddenly starts pouring down rain? You go under a bridge and everything stops. Everything goes silent and it gets serene. Then you finally get from under the bridge and everything hits you again but harder than before. You were my bridge, Papa. You died, I survived. And because I survived, I die everyday.”
7). Who motivated you to write?
My father’s demise. I felt like I could keep him alive through writing. His love for me is alive, in the writing.
8). What inspired you to write?
Life is my biggest inspiration – the challenges I go through and even the stories I hear from people around me, I word whatever piques my interest and whatever it is that could somehow help or inspire another person. But as a writer, I understand that my words will not last, no matter how wise they may seem, because time will dust them away. But if by grace I am able to inspire one other soul to continue living or take a risk, then I will have written something that will forever endure, because it will be written on the heart of another human being.
9).Do you have fans? How do you react to fans?
I’m an emerging writer but yes, I do have quite a few fans.

No, I’ve only worked with one publishing house and their personnel and the company as a whole has been legitimate.

Not at the moment, no. But it’s something that’s been lingering at the back of my mind and I hope to give something to the community through my craft.
12).How did your faith help in marketing your craft?
It helped me believe in myself and not give up. I kept writing even when I felt like I was writing crap. I later perfected my ‘crap’ and came up with a masterpiece of a book!
13).How many copies did you sell so far or how many do you plan to sell in near future?
I’ve sold about 70 copies of my latest novel. The upcoming one seems promising too.

I want to pursue filmmaking – I plan to grow so much as a writer that I’ll be able to produce and direct the best films and series the world has ever seen!
15).Encouragement to up upcoming writers, what can you say?
“Africans are not readers.” Bonkers! They are. We as authors should write as many books as we can to harness the reading culture in our continent. Keep working on your craft, treasure it and believe it will impact lives positively and make a difference.
16).How can people get your book?
By ordering it directly from me. But I’m working on making my books available online and in bookstores.
17).Do you plan to convert your book to an ebook too?
Yes.
18). Parting shot or last word!
The world belongs to those who write and those who read what’s been written.
