Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. {Ee nafsi yangu, umhimidi BWANA. Naam, vyote vilivyo ndani yangu Vilihimidi jina lake takatifu.} [2]Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: { Ee nafsi yangu, umhimidi BWANA, Wala usizisahau fadhili zake zote.}
[3]Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; {Akusamehe maovu yako yote, Akuponya magonjwa yako yote,} [4]Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; { Aukomboa uhai wako na kaburi, Akutia taji ya fadhili na rehema,} [5]Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. {Aushibisha mema uzee wako, Ujana wako ukarejezwa kama tai;}
[6]The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. {BWANA ndiye afanyaye mambo ya haki, Na hukumu kwa wote wanaoonewa.} [7]He made known His ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. {Alimjulisha Musa njia zake, Wana wa Israeli matendo yake.} [8]The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. {BWANA amejaa huruma na neema, Haoni hasira upesi, ni mwingi wa fadhili.} [9]He will not always chide: neither will He keep his anger for ever. {Yeye hatateta sikuzote, Wala hatashika hasira yake milele.}
[10]He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.{ Hakututenda sawasawa na hatia zetu, Wala hakutulipa kwa kadiri ya maovu yetu.} [11]For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. { Maana mbingu zilivyoinuka juu ya nchi, Kadiri ile ile rehema zake ni kuu kwa wamchao.} [12]As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. {Kama mashariki ilivyo mbali na magharibi, Ndivyo alivyoweka dhambi zetu mbali nasi.}
This continues to the last verse of this great chapter of Psalm, how I pray that we may understand, and know always how God deeply loves us, and be always assured of Him and His word/ promises: AMEN& HALELUJAH.
