The recent tragic incident at Hillside Endarasha Primary School, where a fire claimed the lives of 21 young students, has highlighted a critical issue that demands immediate attention. The safety of children in schools should be a top priority for the government and all stakeholders involved in the education sector.
It is imperative that the government enforces stringent safety regulations in all educational institutions. Regular safety drills, proper maintenance of school infrastructure, and the installation of fire safety equipment are essential measures that can prevent such tragedies. Additionally, there should be thorough inspections to ensure compliance with these safety standards.
It’s also the role of the
Parents to teach their children on the safety of such incidents .The parents should teach them on how to handle themselves in such situations such that the students ensure themselves are safe from the accident.
If all this is put into practice then the safety of the students will be rest assured to be excellent .It’s a pledge to our government to consider this precaution for the safety of the students and pupils.Through considering the following then many lives will be saved.
