*Kilifi, Kenya —* Kilifi Deputy Governor *Flora Mbetsa Chibule* has lauded the *Friends Forever Women Welfare Group* for their remarkable commitment to empowering women and strengthening community bonds across the county.
Speaking during the group’s *2nd Anniversary celebrations, Deputy Governor Chibule, accompanied by **Chief Officer for ICT Agnetta Karembo, joined the group’s co-founders **Madam Liz Muita* and *Jane Wangechi* in recognizing the tremendous strides the organization has made since its inception.
Established in *2019, the Friends Forever Women Welfare Group now boasts over **400 active members* drawn from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds. The group has become a beacon of *unity and resilience, spearheading impactful socio-economic initiatives — from **entrepreneurship training and charity outreach in schools and hospitals, to **supporting families during burials, **distributing relief food, and **offering aid during disasters*.
Deputy Governor Chibule praised the women for their unwavering dedication to uplifting one another and their communities.
